This elegant, hand-turned bowl is a beautiful example of mid-century Scandinavian craftsmanship. Made from richly grained solid teak, it reflects the organic form and natural warmth typical of Swedish modernist design.
Measuring 31 cm in diameter and 5.5 cm in height, the bowl’s shallow, sculptural shape makes it ideal as a serving piece or a decorative centerpiece. The underside is signed by designer Sigvard Nilsson, adding to its authenticity and collectible appeal.
Sigvard Nilsson (1931–2007) was a respected Swedish craftsman and founder of Söwe Konst in Sövestad, Skåne. His works are known for their refined simplicity, functionality, and exceptional woodwork — all of which are embodied in this piece.
This bowl is in excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of use, and is a timeless addition to any modern or Nordic-inspired interior.
