A rare and striking black glass vase designed by Edvin Ollers in 1928 and produced at Elme Glasbruk, Sweden during the late 1920s and early 1930s. This model, known as “Lalique”, is one of Ollers’ most celebrated glass designs and a fine example of Swedish Art Deco.
The vase is executed in opaque black glass, its deep surface enriched by a richly textured relief of floral and organic motifs. With its sculptural form, double handles, and bold decorative rhythm, it embodies the ornamental modernism of the period, where Swedish craftsmanship intersected with international Art Deco and French influences.
