Striking floor lamp designed by Bo Notini for Glössner, Sweden, circa 1940s. The lamp features an etched glass shade with a sculptural, flared tulip form, adorned with a neoclassical-style motif of a male figure holding a whip, set against stylized waves and architectural details. The inner amber glass cylinder casts a warm, diffused light that enhances the engraved decoration.
The shade rests on a brass holder with perforated detailing and is mounted on a slender, elegant brass stem with a round weighted base. Signed in the glass Kompo. Notini.
